Heather Hegedus from FOX25 joined us on April 13th for the 9th annual “Boutique Day.” She was a personal shopper for Vickie Miranda, a senior at East Boston High. Vickie, along with 400 other high school girls, were able to walk away with a beautiful gown and everything they needed for prom.
Sponsored by Anton’s Cleaners, a family-owned chain of 42 stores in Eastern Massachusetts and Southern New Hampshire, Belle of the Ball cleans and distributes prom dresses to high school junior and senior girls who would otherwise not have the opportunity to attend their school’s prom. Since the program began in 2005, more than 2,400 girls have received beautiful dresses. Corporate Partner, Jordan’s Furniture, and Promotional Partners FOX 25, WickedLocal, KISS 108, and JAM’N 94.5 were a part in making Belle of the Ball a huge success again his year.
Every girl deserves to experience her prom and feel radiant, but some simply cannot afford it. Those who helped made this a reality. All gowns were cleaned free of charge by Anton’s Cleaners and displayed at a boutique for girls who are prequalified by referral partners.
