Natalie Guthrie from the Needham Channel News spoke with several volunteers and dress recipients at the 9th annual “Boutique Day” on Saturday, April 13th. Over 500 girls were invited to pick out a prom dress, handbag, jewellery, and shoes for their special day.
Sponsored by Anton’s Cleaners, a family-owned chain of 42 stores in Eastern Massachusetts and Southern New Hampshire, Belle of the Ball cleans and distributes prom dresses to high school junior and senior girls who would otherwise not have the opportunity to attend their school’s prom. Since the program began in 2005, more than 2,400 girls have received beautiful dresses. Corporate Partner, Jordan’s Furniture, and Promotional Partners FOX 25, WickedLocal, KISS 108, and JAM’N 94.5 were a part in making Belle of the Ball a huge success again his year.
