Boutique Day 2010

On April 17, 2010, the Simmons College Holmes Sports Center was transformed into an elegant boutique. With the help of volunteer personal shoppers, over 395 girls found the perfect gown. Filled with excitement, the participants also had the opportunity to spend time receiving personal tips on the hottest prom looks from Mary Kay consultant Kathryn Corley, Empire Beauty Schools, and have their photograph taken in their prom gown by Joan Ross Photography of Danvers, MA. Participants were also able to choose make up, jewelry accessories, and/or shoes, thanks to our generous In-Kind partners.

As an added treat, the Boston Bruins Ice Girls volunteered as personal shoppers at the boutique.

Throughout the day many prizes were raffled off, including gift certificates to local hair and skin care salons and sterling silver jewelry, corsage certificates and perfume.

Showered with individual attention, each girl left feeling like the Belle of the Ball.

The day was a huge success, thanks to the hard work of our volunteers and the commitment of all of our partners.
