2009-2010 Drive Results

Thank you for making the 2009-2010 drive a success!

The public, along with 287 schools, and over 192 corporate and community partners, dropped off thousands of coats from October 15, 2009 through January 9, 2010. With this generosity, Coats for Kids collected 58,000 coats.

Promotional Partners FOX25, Jordan’s Furniture, Kiss 108, and Jam’n 94.5, all played an important role in spreading the word. Thanks to the Supporting Partners, Enterprise Bank, Package Supply Company and Graham Communications, along with Jordan’s Furniture, the School Rewards Program was able to once again award the top schools for their efforts in the collection drive. The Corporate, Community and School Partners played key roles by dedicating their time in organizing collection drives and dropping off coats.

Once again, our Distribution Partners worked tirelessly to make sure that everyone who needed a coat received one. Our 58 Distribution Partners included: MASSCAP, Salvation Army, Cradles to Crayons, The Lowell Wish Project, Southern New Hampshire Services, Father Bill’s & Mainspring, Middlesex Human Service Agency, Massachusetts Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Children, Mental Health Association of Greater Lowell, The Community Giving Tree, and Boston University Medical Center: Outreach Van Project among others.

Major William H. Bode from the Salvation Army sums it up best,

“The 2009 Coats for Kids Program has allowed The Salvation Army to distribute nearly 9,700 coats to underprivileged adults and children within Massachusetts.

Thanks to Anton’s Cleaners’ commitment, we were well equipped to provide warm coats to families and individuals, who came to our 18 Salvation Army corp offices throughout the state.

The Salvation Army is extremely privileged to work with companies, like Anton’s Cleaners who are committed to improving the quality of life in the community and believe in the power to make a difference.

Thank you for seeing a need, extending a hand.”

To all our partners, thank you!
